Working Training
You will need to be dedicated to develop your dog as a working dog.
Our training is for those who are interested in working their dogs, and also for those who have a pet gundog and want to enjoy having an obedient and well behaved dog. Our training concentrates on basic training and retrieving.
Any dog has natural instincts and gundogs are no exception, training is about harnessing and controlling those instincts. Equally important is that both your dog and you as a handler enjoy and have fun learning and training together.
Group gundog training takes place throughout the year at a variety of grounds. Socialisation is important for any dog, but for a dog that you want to work in the field with others it is critical. Group training is a great opportunity for you to socialise your dog in a controlled and structured environment.
The training we provide is for:
- Pet gundogs and their owners
- Owners who want to take their dog into the shooting field for picking up or beating
- Owners who want to go down the competitive route and enter gundog working tests and field trials
For full details of the Spring training rota please click here.
Cost per Class: £5.00/1 dog per handler

- Please keep your dogs on the lead until instructed otherwise
- All dogs must be wormed
